White LED Lights – Two Types Available

A combination of red, blue and green light-emitting diodes (LED) produces warm or cool white LED lights, depending on how much of each color is used.  The terms refer to color temperature and how the white light looks to the naked eye.  A cool white looks blue, while the warm light looks yellow.

For instance, if you decide to add LED rope lights under your kitchen cabinets to illuminate your counter tops, you’ll want to note if the rest of the lighting in the room is cool or warm.  It’s important that the light you’re adding matches the light you already have for a uniform look.
